ROSE College processes personal data provided by you in connection with our services. We would like to give you some information pursuant to article 12 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) about the processing of your data, as well as your rights in connection with its collection and storage.

No data protection officer has been appointed as we do not fulfill the requirements according to art. 37, par. 1 GDPR and § 38, par. 1 new Fereral Data Protection Act (BDSG new).
We process your data in order to fulfill our contractual obligations and to provide you with the best possible service.
We are permitted to collect your data because you have consented to its collection; because we provide a contractual service for you; because we have a legitimate interest; or because we are legally obliged to collect your data (art. 6, par. 1 GDPR).
Depending on the service, we collect the following data from or about you:
Name, address, telephone number(s) and e-mail address, employer, order information, contact history, course and level history, appointment information and technical usage data relating to your activities on our website. We collect only the data that is absolutely necessary and that is used by our employees to best serve you with our language training offerings, to aid in your learning objectives, and to fulfill our contractual obligations.
In some cases, however, we also need to pass your data on to our language trainers, IT and software service providers or to our tax accountant. Under certain circumstances, your data may be transferred to countries outside the EU. All details regarding our handling of personal data as well as the legally required information can be found in our privacy statement below.
Every year we check whether you are still our client. Your data will be deleted four (4) years after the end of our client relationship. For data subject to statutory retention periods, these retention periods apply. Excluded from this is data that we have stored exclusively for backup purposes.
You may request information, rectification, deletion, blocking, restriction of processing and transfer of your personal data to us at any time. If the collection is based on consent, the consent can be revoked at any time. Revocation has no influence on the legality of data already stored.
If you believe that your data is being processed unlawfully, you can file a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
