GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Registering for open group courses
Open group courses are designed to be accessible for anyone and accommodating to each participant’s personal language course goals. Registrations must be submitted in writing (by letter, fax or email).

2. Registering for in-house trainings
In-house trainings are designed for companies and other institutions who would like to offer language trainings to a defined number of employees with homogenous language goals. Offers are to be confirmed by the contracting party in writing before the start of the training. Offers in written form are valid for three months, starting from the date of composition.

3. Cancellation of open group courses
Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Cancellations of courses up to two weeks before the start of the courses are not subject to charges. Cancellations up to a week for the start of the course will incur 50% of the seminar fee. Appointments for instructional lessons cancelled less than 24 hours before the start of the appointment will incur the total cost of the lesson. Course participation can be transferred to other people at any time. If a course participant does not observe contracted appointments, the cost of the lessons will not be refunded.

4. Cancellation of in-house trainings
Trainings confirmed in writing can be cancelled up to three weeks before the start of the training. Cancellations of trainings up to three weeks before the start of training will incur 50% of the training costs. Cancellations or lack of attendance less than three business days before the start of training will incur the full amount of the training costs. Appointments for instructional lessons cancelled less than 24 hours before the start of the appointment will incur the total cost of the lesson. Cancellation fees for reserved rooms or other third-party services are forwarded to the contracting party. Training participation can be transferred to other people at any time. No refunds can be offered for services that have been rendered but not used.

5. Annulments
The contracted party reserves the right to cancel open group courses or offer replacement appointments up to five days before the start of the course in the case of low registration numbers (usually less than four participants). If the course is cancelled due to sickness, natural causes or other unforeseen events, participants are not entitled to a replacement course offering.

6. Payment conditions
Invoices are to be paid immediately after the start of courses in their full amount.

7. Copyright
Registered course and training participants are legally obligated to use course and training materials only for their own personal purposes. Using course or training materials for other purposes, copying materials for others, etc. is allowed only with the expressed written permission of the contracted party.

8. Final Provisions
Revisions to the original contract, parallel agreements or other changes to the contract conditions require written confirmation. This applies to the cancellation of this provision itself. Should one of the previously named regulations or a regulation in the context of another agreement become void, this does not render the other regulations inoperative.

9. Jurisdiction
The jurisdiction for dispute with this contract is Aschaffenburg.
